Nepotism: 10 Bollywood actors who spoke out

Kangana Ranaut's explosive interview with Arnab Goswami on Republic TV where she spoke about the ‘movie mafia,’ and hit out at Bollywood’s biggies including Karan Johar, Rajeev Masand, Aditya Chopra and Mahesh Bhatt, has stirred up a hornet’s nest.

In the interview, Kangana blamed a certain section of Bollywood’s elite club for systematically targeting Sushant Singh Rajput, which ultimately led to his death.

It has been more than a month since actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death. Nothing in the recent past has shaken Bollywood as his death has and the discussions and theories revolving around it refuse to die down. Fans and celebrities alike have been demanding that a CBI probe be done into the actor’s death.

His death has also reignited the debate on nepotism in an industry which is known to fiercely guard its turf against outsiders. Quite a few people,  both star kids who have had the benefit of relationships, and stark outsiders who have struggled to find a footing in the industry, have spoken out about how nepotism has helped or hurt them.
