There's still chance to enter this year's competition
Each year, The British Wildlife Photography Awards captivate with their breathtaking entries from across the UK, and the recently announced winners of the 2018 competition are no different. The photographs capture British animals in their natural habits.
2019 marks the 10-year anniversary of the awards and, to celebrate, the competition is raising awareness of our coastal environments and the species that inhabit them. The awards celebrate both the work of amateur and professional photographers, and the beauty and diversity of British wildlife. There's still time to enter this year's competition if you want to be in for a chance to win.
Talking about the 2018 winners, naturalist, author and wildlife TV producer, Stephen Moss says: "Once again, this collection of images from the British Wildlife Photography Awards leaves us in awe of the skill, patience and artistry of the photographers whose work is showcased here. The extraordinary range of subjects, species and habitats, and the imaginative way they are portrayed, leaves us in no doubt that we in Britain are fortunate to be home to some of the most talented photographers in the world."
