Christmas is a time for indulgence, but is this festive offering taking it a step too far?
Solita Bar & Grill has created the ultimate Christmas burger with all of the trimmings and then some.
Weighing in at 1kg, the 2,300 calorie burger combines all of your favourite festive foods for a meal that’s bound to have you feeling full to the brim.
Although the burger is certainly a sight to behold, it’s not an entirely new concept.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, a spokesperson from Solita explained that they were inspired by the Gregg’s Festive Bake to create their own.
“To top the success of last year’s Christmas burger, Solita’s chefs put their heads together to think of a modern Christmas dish that they all love and the one item that they all agreed on was the Gregg’s Festive Bake.”
Taking note of the success of the Gregg’s Festive Bake, Solita set to work emulating it in their own style.
“After a week in the development kitchen they came up with their own version and it now sits proudly inside the Christmas burger, filled with turkey, bacon and stuffing in a rich white sauce.”
The burger also features a candied pig in blanket, roast gammon, deep fried sprouts and a brioche bun.
Solita has been serving up their Christmas Burger for five years in a row, much to the delight of their customers.
They’re also spreading Christmas cheer to those in need, one bite at a time.
For every Christmas Burger sold with a portion of fries, 50p is being donated to a Manchester homeless charity.
The Solita Bar & Grill Christmas Burger will be available until the 7th January.
