When Praveen was diagnosed with end-stage liver disease, he was not expected to live beyond three or four months if he hadn’t undergone transplant. There was no option but to undergo transplant. Roopa’s liver matched — and there was no turning back.

The surgery was performed in 2011 Dr Arvinder Singh Soin, Chairman, Liver Transplant and Regenerative Medicine at Medanta.

In the video, Dr Sain says,

"“There’s no limit to what a successfully transplanted person can do.”"

Praveen shares his experience after the transplant, “My health improved, I became active and even started taking part in sports.”
