If there’s one thing Bollywood is famous for, among other things, then it is the whistle-worthy dialogue play in films. There have been many instances where you might even forget the name of the film but the dialogue, you’ll remember. There are many dialogues be it Dharmendra’s Kuttey Kaminey Main Tera Khoon Pee Jaunga, Amitabh Bachchan’s Main Aaj Bhi Phenke Hue Paise Nahin Uthata etc which you’ll know by heart but if asked about the film it featured in, six out 10 won’t be able to answer that question. However, there are many superhit dialogues which are often attributed to certain superstars but if you dig deeper they weren’t even spoken by them. In this listicle, I’ll break five such myths…

Let’s take a look at 5 dialogues which were originally spoken by other characters: Also read: Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan or Aamir Khan: Who has ruled this decade? Let’s find out...

Hum Jahaan Khade Hote Hain – Kaalia

This dialogue is synonymous with Amitabh Bachchan, but did you know the dialogue was actually spoken by late Bob Christo in Kaalia. It was then that Amitabh Bachchan repeats the dialogue in the film. But obviously the line is attributed to the megastar.

Aata Majhi Satakli – Singham

The wildly famous dialogue was first spoken by Prakash Raaj in the film, quite a few times. Later, Ajay Devgn repeats the same dialogue and makes it his own.

Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe/Haveli Pe Aa Jana – Dilwale

The dialogue that went viral as a meme was credited to Amrish Puri, however, it was actually spoken by Paresh Rawal in the 1994 hit film, Dilwale. The scene is rather funny, unintentional though. Imagine, Paresh Rawal calling Suniel Shetty to haweli.

Kya Tumhein Yakeen Hai? – Tubelight

This dialogue from the film Tubelight was initially assumed to be spoken by Salman Khan as this also found a place in the poster of the film. However, in the film, the dialogue was first spoken by Sohail Khan and also was mouthed by Shah Rukh Khan.

Ek Tarfa Pyar Ki Taaqat – Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

When the trailer of the film had released, among other things, it was this dialogue that was loved by everyone. Many believed it to be Ranbir Kapoor’s dialogue, however when the film released, it was revealed to be mouthed by Shah Rukh Khan and not Ranbir Kapoor.
