Perhaps the most popular of the diets that trended in 2018 was the Keto diet…so much so that cafes now have a separate Keto menu. Interestingly though, the Keto Diet plan isn’t new at all. It was introduced in the 1920s. If you’re on a Keto diet you have to avoid sugars, legumes, potatoes, rice and grains as well as several fruits, but you can enjoy your meats and fish as well as nuts and butter. If the veggies are low on fat, they’re good too. The Keto diet took 2018 by storm and remains one of the most popular diets of the year.

What a year it’s been! You began resolving to lose weight and get fit…but it didn’t exactly turn out the way you hoped. Here you are, standing before the mirror looking disappointed at yourself. But while you were chugging beer, there were others who worked hard and ate healthy. However, it’s never too late to start, especially when it’s the beginning of a new year.
