Sports Illustrated magazine has revealed the 17 finalists in their annual search for a cover star for their famed 'swimsuit issue' – and the line up includes a 55-year-old knockout.
Model Kathy Jacobs, who walked the runway for the magazine at Miami Swim Week in July, says she's put herself in the running to: 'Be part of a change in the views on women over 50, not only by society, but by ourselves.'

The 'age inclusive activist,' who lives in California, shared her finalist snap to her own IG page, writing in the caption that 'it’s such an honor to be included in a movement that is changing society’s views on what true beauty is!!.'
The finalists are the magazine's most diverse ever, with Christie Valdiserri, who has alopecia, and body positive model Florinda Estrada also up for the prize.
The winner will be on the front of the US mag's 2020 swimsuit issue, which, every year, features a woman in, erm, a swimsuit – and is traditionally seen as one of the most coveted accolades in the modelling sphere.
All power to you, team.
