After one week, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan crossed the lifetime collections of the original film while Vicky Kaushal starrer Bhoot was stable at the lower end.

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, earned good user reviews as per BookMyShow.com which helped the film get an opening of Rs 9.55 crore on its first day from 2500 screens and becoming the third highest grossing film of the talented actor. It showed limited growth on the weekend, it dropped on the weekdays. The comedy drama was doing good business in multiplexes but was strictly below average in the mass centers owing to the subject of the movie.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan collected Rs 11.08 crore followed by another growth on Sunday with Rs 12.03 crore. There was a big drop on Monday with Rs 3.87 crore while Tuesday was good with Rs 3.07 crore. The drop was big on Wednesday with Rs 2.62 crore. As per early estimates, the comedy drama collected somewhere between Rs 2.20-2.40 crore, bringing the first week total amount to Rs 44-44.50 crore, crossing the lifetime collections of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (Rs 42.79 crores). The budget of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan is Rs 50 crore (Production cost is Rs 40 crore, Printing & Advertising is Rs 10 crore)
Directed by debutant Bhanu Pratap Singh, Bhoot is produced by Dharma Productions along with Shashank Khaitaan and Apoorv Mehta. Also starring Vikcy Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar, Bhoot got good user reviews as per BookMyShow.com but took a decent start with Rs 5.10 crores which is very much on the expected lines from 2000 screens in India.
Bhoot showed a growth of around 25% on Saturday and collected Rs 5.52 crores but again was limited on Sunday with Rs 5.74 crore. There was a big drop on Monday with Rs 2.32 crore followed by Rs 2.10 crore on Tuesday and Rs 1.85 crore on Wednesday. As per estimates, the collection was stable on Thursday with Rs 1.50-1.65 crore, bringing the seven days total to Rs 24.50-24.70 crore. The budget of Bhoot is Rs 30 Crore (Production Cost: 20 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 10 Crore)
Both Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Bhoot will face Taapsee Pannu Starrer Thappad from today.
