Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 showed a nice growth, Rajkummar Rao starrer Made In China is limited while Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh showed a decent growth on second Saturday at the box office.
The Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kirti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde starrer Housefull 4 showed a nice growth which was below expectations but is still better the other releases.
Housefull 4 opened well and managed to generate a healthy opening and posted a nice first weekend collections. It shot up on Monday in post Diwali celebration and stayed afloat with first week collections at Rs 141.31 crore. Due to the release of Ujda Chaman, the comedy drama dropped to Rs 8.05 crore
As per early estimates, the comedy drama went up on second Saurday with Rs 10.20 crore, bringing the nine days total to somewhere between Rs 159-160 crore. With this total, Housefull 4 is now the third highest grossing film of Akshay Kumar beating Kesari (Rs 155.50 crore). Housefull 4 has also beaten Ajay Devgn starrer Total Dhamaal (Rs 155 crore) to become the 6th highest grossing film of 2019. The budget is Rs 125 crore (Production Cost: 100 Crore including the salary cost, Prints & Advertising Cost: 25 Crore).
Made In China
The Rajkummar Rao starrer Made In China posted a decent first week collections at Rs 10.50 crore but has crashed in the second weekend. The comedy drama dropped big time on second Friday with Rs 55 lakhs.
As per early estimates, Made In China went up sightly to Rs 70 lakhs, bringing the 9 days collections to Rs 11.75 crore from 1100 screens. The budget of Made In China is Rs 30 Crore (Production Cost: 22 Crore & Prints & Advertising Cost: 8 Crore)

Compared to Made In China, Saand Ki Aankh is performing better than expected as it collected Rs 11.68 crore in its first week. There was a good hold on second Friday with Rs 1.28 crore.
As per trade estimates, Saand Ki Aankh showed a decent jump on second Saturday with Rs 1.60 crore, bringing the 9 days total to Rs 14.56 crore. The budget of biopic drama is Rs 28 Crore (Production Cost: 22 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 6 Crore).
