Babil Khan, the son of late International superstar Irrfan Khan has always been active through his social media account but never came in front of the camera. But in his recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, he revealed his future plans and we couldn’t stop praising his statement. Read On!
Talking about his dad Irrfan act in movies, watching while growing up, Babil said, “Honestly, when I was young, I used to watch him and say ‘What is this? Nothing special, he’s just going in front of the camera and acting normal’.”
Further, he added that his father is the one who came across as one of the ‘most hardworking’ people he has seen, “When you go in front of the camera, and you have to truly forget that everything around you exists, it can only come after hours and hours of endless practice. He really was the most hardworking person I’ve ever seen. Ever.”
He went on to reveal that he wants to take his dad’s legacy forward not become a star, as he is currently training to become an actor. To which Babil says, “I have to do it the right way. I don’t want to do a big movie in which I am dancing, it makes 100 crores and has no artistic value. My intention is to take his (father Irrfan) legacy forward. Not to become a star. It has to be done in the right way.”
Also, recently, he and his mother Sutapa Sikdar wife of Irrfan Khan were present at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa to watch his father’s film Paan Singh Tomar. From which, Sutapa’s speech from the IFFI stage went viral on social media.
