Television actress Anita Hassanandani and her husband Rohit Reddy welcomed their first child on Tuesday. The good news was shared on social media by the doting new father.

Sharing a picture of the couple, Reddy wrote "Oh boy," revealing that it is a boy.

He also shared a selfie with Hassanandani from the hospital where the couple is seen carrying big smiles.

Actor Mushtaq Sheikh and producer Ekta Kapoor shared pictures from the hospital to congratulate Hassanandani and Reddy.

While Sheikh shared a picture of himself with the new mommy announcing that it is a baby boy, Kapoor called herself an "aunt parent."

Fellow TV and film stars like Bharti Singh, Karanvir Bohra, and Neha Dhupia also congratulated the couple.

Hassanandani had announced her pregnancy last year through adorable Instagram posts.

Meanwhile, her fans and friends from the entertainment fraternity have been showering well wishes on the couple since the pregnancy announcement.
