Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be making a trip across the pond sometime soon.

According to new reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so fed up with the British media's treatment of Meghan that they are "considering" moving to Canada. Because the country is still part of the Commonwealth, the parents to Archie are considering relocation an "option for the future," UsWeekly says

Prince Harry reached a tipping point with the media last week and has begun taking legal action against various media companies for publishing a private letter that Meghan wrote to her father and the illegal interception of voicemails.

The prince released a statement with Buckingham Palace earlier this month:

"Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences — a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son," he said. "Though we have continued to put on a brave face -- as so many of you can relate to -- I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been. Because in today’s digital age, press fabrications are repurposed as truth across the globe. One day’s coverage is no longer tomorrow’s chip-paper. Up to now, we have been unable to correct the continual misrepresentations - something that these select media outlets have been aware of and have therefore exploited on a daily and sometimes hourly basis."

Other outlets report tension within the royal house and Prince William and Prince Charles "distancing themselves" from the couple.

Canada is where Meghan lived during her time on "Suits," and is home to her good friend Jessica Mulroney, whose children took part in the royal wedding. The couple wouldn't be the first royals to have resided in Canada. As Bustle reports, Peter Phillips, Princess Anne's son, lived in Canada a few years back for work, where he met his now-wife Autumn Phillips.
