Earlier this week Apple announced the much-anticipated new addition to the AirPods family: AirPods Pro.
The new launch comes with numerous innovative features - and an elevated price tag of £249 (AirPods currently retail for £159).
AirPods Pro are the first in-ear headphones to have Active Noise Cancellation technology. So, they continuously adapt to block out the world around you.
The new technology is made up of two microphones, one outward and one inward. The outward detects external sound, whereas the the inward-facing microphone listens inside your ear for any remaining noise detected, adjusting at 200 times per second, to eliminate any sound interruptions.
Want if you want to hear what’s happening around you, you ask?
The smart headphones also come with a ‘Transparency mode’ which is activated when you press and hold the force sensor on the stem - making it easy to toggle between the two.
The design of the headphones have also had an upgrade, an all-new design (available in three sizes) brings improved comfort thanks to a flexible silicone ear tip that conforms to your individual ear shape.
The earphones are also set to last up to 4.5 hours of listening time in one charge.
