Arjun Kapoor has been hitting the gym extra hard in preparation for his upcoming film Panipat. The actor recently took to Instagram to share a photograph of himself working out along with a note detailing his tough journey with weight loss.
“It’s been a tough journey for me ever since I was a kid when it comes to my battle with obesity. Everyone has their own struggles I have had and continue to have mine. But the whole point of life is that we fall, we get back up and try again... efforts will pay off eventually if not today then in a week month or even a year...” he wrote.
He recalled how it took him three years to shed 50 kilos as an overweight 20-year-old and said that back then he vowed never to give up. For anyone struggling to get into shape, Arjun says the key is to “keep the faith and keep at it, cause what we do today will echo in time and reflect within us eventually.”
Bollywood celebs responded to Arjun’s post with words of encouragement. His sister Anshula wrote: “Because you’ve never let anything get the better of you, always risen - better than ever.. You the man.” Ranveer Singh excitedly posted, “ARRE ARRE ARRE BAUS!!!!!!”
Arjun had shared pictures of himself slaying it at the gym earlier too. “Warrior mode on !!! #Panipat” he wrote.
