Baahubali 2 trailer breaks record with over 23 million views in less than 24 hours

The trailer of the highly anticipated Baahubali: The Conclusion was launched today. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions of the promo were unveiled first in Hyderabad and then in Mumbai on Thursday.

While the first glimpse of the fantasy fiction has got us all talking, it has also set in the momentum for its record breaking spree.  The muc- awaited promo of the second installment has already crossed over 23 million views in less than 24 hours on Youtube and continues to amass viewership for both its Telugu and Hindi versions.

The Telugu promo alone has received over 15 million views and still counting.

Incidentally, Baahubali 2 will also be the third film to be released in the IMAX format. Before it, Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 and Katrina-Hrithik’s Bang Bang were digitally re-mastered into the said format.

Informing about the same director Rajamouli today revealed, “A major factor for the wide appeal of the Baahubali films is the scale and immersive nature with which we designed and filmed them. So it is very exciting that ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ will be released in the IMAX format, which best showcases this and gives the viewer a great experience.”

Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nassar, the movie will hit the silver screen on April 28.
