Jade Roper is defending a video she posted on her Instagram Story of her nursing her 5-month-old son, Brooks.
"Lazy football Sunday," the 33-year-old reality star, who appeared on both The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, wrote. "We still have Christmas gifts strewn all over the living room."
The mom of two can be seen nursing her infant son in the footage.
Roper then shared a screenshot of a message she received from a troll who took issue with the breastfeeding shot. "Stop!!!! We don’t want to see that. At least put up a warning," the person wrote.
Roper, who is married to Bachelorette alum Tanner Tolbert, fired back at the critic.
"Breastfeeding is a natural way some babies EAT," she wrote over the screenshot. "So sorry, no warning here. You see more boob in a bikini."
The Mommies Tell All podcast co-host also shares 2-year-old daughter Emerson with Tolbert, and has a history of standing up to mom shamers on social media. Over the summer, Roper called out trolls who were sending her messages about Emerson's development, claiming her little girl is showing signs of autism.
"You all, these are NOT OK messages to send to people," she wrote over a screenshot of one of the direct messages she received. "If you all mean well, it’s still not OK to say she has autism or needs speech therapy or to comment any sort of thing like that to anyone about their child. We are her parents, we have a great pediatrician and we know her development. Comments like this really throw me for a loop."
When another person criticized her for posting that response, Roper stood firm.
"I’m saying people would never come up to someone in public and say these things," she wrote over the rude comment. "You don’t get to go rogue because you’re behind a keyboard."
Roper continued, "Also my daughter says plenty of words. I share parts of my life to bring joy and because they bring me joy. But she is not a monkey to dance for you (or in this case to show you how many words she knows/doesn't know).
"I’m just going to assume the people commenting these things are NOT parents, because they clearly don’t have a clue," she concluded in another post.
