Barkha Singh is associated in the Bollywood filmdom, both in theatre and television. She played the younger version of Kareena named Tina in the 2002's block-buster movie Mujhse Dosti Karoge.

In a new conversation, Barkha Singh stated that landing the role of junior Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge' wasn't simple, and she was chosen from a pool of 600 to 700 girls. She went on to say that there were five rounds of auditions. She was cast in part after a series of the audition process.

Barkha explained that she only acted as a child actor as a hobby, which is why she didn't appear in many projects or long-running TV shows. She went on to say that she found the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

She (Barkha Singh) has earned a master's degree in mass communication with honours from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. During her marketing and business school years, she had attended classes at the University of Berkeley. She carries a master's degree in sociology.

As a child actress, Barkha has a body of work that includes films such as Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Samay: When The Time Comes. The actor remarked that she had a clean slate to work with though she returned to the industry. Starting from the ground up, she embarked on her career.
