Shahid Kapoor made waves this week when the trailer of his upcoming film, Padmavati, released. As Maharawal Ratan Singh, the actor is looking quite dapper and of course, regal. But we are equally impressed with the non-glam look of his younger brother, Ishaan Khatter. He is making an impressive debut with Majid Majidi’s film, Beyond The Clouds and we have just landed our hands on a new still from the film.

Tweeting the same, trade analyst, Taran Adarsh also wrote, “Majid Majidi’s #BeyondTheClouds to premiere at BFI London Film Festival in competition category… Stars Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan” Check out the tweet below…

Yes, isn’t that exciting? The fact that the film is going to compete at BFI London Film Festival is , in itself, a huge deal. Especially since it will also premiere there and the makers are yet to ascertain as to what the response to the film might be like. But from what we have heard and the posters that we have seen so far, we are quite confident that it will be able to put up a stiff competition for the other films in the category, if not topple them to win.

The first poster of the film was unveiled at the Berlin Film Festival in February this year featuring Ishaan along with the beautiful Flamingo birds in Mumbai. The second poster of the film, again featuring a silhouette of Ishaan, was launched at the Cannes Film Festival, earlier this year.

Majid Majidi is renowned for his 1998 Oscar-nominated film, Children of Heaven, and world cinema classics like The Song of Sparrows, The Color of Paradise and Baran. He has already finished shooting for the film for which he had travelled across multiple locations in the country. Apart from Ishaan, Beyond The Clouds also stars Malayalam actress, Malavika Mohanan, and National Award-winning Bengali director, Goutam Ghose. The movie has been produced by Zee Studios and Eyecandy.
