Bicchoo Ka Khel- AltBalaji's latest presentation- starring Divyenndu as the protagonist, is based in Benares and is a revenge drama spiced with 80s background score and classics. The web series kick-starts with a murder and surrender of the murderer (Divyenndu) and gradually unfolds its drama.

The storyline is that of a young guy, Akhil played by Divyenndu and his father, Babu (Mukul Chadha) working in a sweets shop in Benares. One night, Babu lands in trouble as he accidentally finds himself at a crime scene and becomes the prime suspect. Akhil tries his level best to get his father out of the mess, but he keeps getting entangled. Ultimately, Babu is killed in jail and that's when Akhil decides to take things in his hand to avenge his father's death and bring out the truth. He comits a murder and challenges the system to prove he is guilty.

The series comprises 9 episodes, around 22 mins each, and is extremely gripping till the 5th episode. The plot is full of twists and interesting exchange of dialogues between its characters. At no time will you find yourself getting bored in the cat and mouse game of whodunit? And I would give credit to police inspector Nikunj Tiwari played beautifully by Syed Zeeshan Qdri, for keeping it alive.

However, by the time we come to the 6th episode, the screenplay loses its grip. That's when I felt the series started to nosedive. It could have finished in maximum 7 episodes. The end is sloppy and you feel suddenly too many things are happening around you, just to create more confusion, which actually ends up making the series draggy.

Talking about the performances, Divyenndu will once again win your heart. He does full justice to his character. Anshul Chauhan, who plays Akhil's love interest Rashmi also delivers a strong performance.

Overall, Bicchoo Ka Khel is a gripping series to a point but then you will watch it till the end as you would want to know who the real culprit is. I will say it's bingeworthy and give it 3 stars and also suggest you give it a dekko for Divyenndu.
