- Billie Eilish has recorded the theme tune for the upcoming Bond film, No Time To Die.
- The singer follows in the footsteps of Adele, Sam Smith and Shirley Bassey.
Billie Eilish just landed the gig most singers dream of, and she's only 18. Not that we're trying to make you feel bad, or anything.
The teenager is officially the youngest recording artist of all time to be singing the James Bond theme tune after it was confirmed that her song will be the title track for the upcoming movie, No Time To Die.
The singer, whose debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was a huge smash, said that she's overwhelmed to have landed the gig. "It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way," she admitted. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”
Billie wrote the upcoming song alongside her older brother and co-producer Finneas, who said: "We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”
Fans are, predictably, very excited about the news.

The last two singers to have written the theme song, Adele and Sam Smith, both won Oscars for their work, so it looks like Billie could be aiming big. We can't wait to hear the song!
