BLACKPINK’s Rosé Selected As The New Inspo Of YSL Beauty

·2-min read

VOGUE Korea has released a new teaser video confirming that Rosé is a new inspiration for YSL Beauty. YSL Beauty is the Yves Saint Laurent division which houses makeup, perfume, skincare, cosmetics, and more.

In June 2020, Rosé was selected as the new global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent fashion, and working with a luxury fashion house is a big enough achievement.

Rosé is the brand’s first-ever global ambassador since it was founded 59 years ago. The most impressive part is she racked up hundreds of thousands of views on her first Yves Saint Laurent campaign video within an hour. iPrice Group revealed the shopping data where the interest of brand rose by over 1000% in some Southeast Asian countries after Rosé’s campaign launch.

VOGUE Korea only shared a quick outline, but Rosé’s beauty shines through even in minimal lighting.

Some fans already had an idea that the announcement was coming after Rosé tagged YSL Beauty in an Instagram post last month, spilling that BLINKs had something to look forward to in the caption.

A few weeks back, the Global Beauty Director for YSL Beauty and the official YSL Beauty account both liked a photo of Rosé on Anthony Vaccarello’s Instagram account.

YSL Beauty won’t officially reveal Rosé’s new campaign until January 4, 2021, but fans are already excited about what to expect. After watching a YSL Beauty perfume advertisement from British singer Dua Lipa (who collaborated with BLACKPINK on “Kiss and Make Up”), one fan thinks Rosé’s campaign could even coincide with her solo debut.

Others are hoping that her new role as the brand’s muse will see her release her own makeup palettes, lipsticks, fragrances, and more.
