The Nitesh Tiwari directed Chhichhore completed its 3 weeks run despite facing new releases in every other week. With the first week run at Rs 68.83 crores, the second week collections were equally good with Rs 40.47 crores at the box office.

Despite the new releases in form of Sonam Kapoor and Dulqueer Salman starrer The Zoya Factor, Sanjay Dutt starrer Prassthanam and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas last week, Chhichhore earned a very good Rs 15.90 crores in the third weekend. There was a good hold on Monday with Rs 2.50 crore as compared to the second Friday while Tuesday was nice with Rs 2.35 crore and Rs 2.30 crore. As per early estimates, the comedy drama minted Rs 2.10 crore, bringing the 21 days total collection to Rs 134.48 crore and has solid chance of crossing Gully Boy. Produced by Sajid Nadiawala, Chhichhore has already crossed its budget of Rs 65 Crore (Production Cost: 50 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 15 Crore).

The Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl remained strong at the ticket thanks to an encouraging word-of-mouth reviews from the paying audience which helped the movie to mint a staggering Rs 72.50 crore. Due to the poor reviews received by the new releases, Dream Girl minted a very good Rs 25.45 crore.

Produced by Balaji Motions Pictures and Zee Studios production, Dream Girl held very well on second Monday with Rs 3.75 crore and Rs 3.30 crore on Tuesday, Rs 3.10 crore on Wednesday. As per early estimates, the drop was good on second Thirsday with Rs 2.90 crore, bringing the 14 days total to Rs 110.70 crore. Dream Girl is now the second film of Ayushmann to cross 100 crore after Badhaai Ho. The comedy drama is also the second film of Ekta Kapoor to touch the 100 crore after Ek Villain and first film of Nushrat Bharucha and director Raaj Shaandilya.
