The Narcotics Control Bureau who stepped into the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case to investigate the drug angle today arrested Rhea Chakraborty. The actress was arrested by the NCB today in the afternoon reportedly under sections 8 (c), 20 (b), 27 (a), 28 and 29 of the NDPS Act. She was later sent to Sion hospital for a medical test. Then she was presented in front of the magistrate court via video conferencing. Now the reports have emerged that Rhea has been sent to 14-days judicial custody, as reported by India TV.
Post the arrest of Rhea, Mutha Ashok Jain, Deputy DG, South-Western Region, NCB stated that they do not want the custody remand of the actress as they have received all the information from her. Rhea was interrogated by the NCB for three consecutive days, after which, her arrest was carried out today. He also asserted that whatever information they derived from her was enough for her arrest. However, the NCB also demanded 14 days judicial custody for Rhea Chakraborty, as per reports. The remand copy has also made its way to the social media that suggests that it was a repeated attempt by Rhea Chakraborty to procure drugs. The name of Sushant Singh Rajput's has also been mentioned as the copy suggests that Rhea maintained his finance for his drugs purchase.
Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty who was arrested by the NCB a few days ago remains to be in the custody of the investigating agency until tomorrow.

For #SushantSinghRajput’s consumption, drugs were being procured by more than one person. #RheaChakraborty hasn’t confessed to consuming; only procuring for SSR. pic.twitter.com/J2TTBHiFX4
