Watch Catherine Zeta-Jones and Anil Kapoor Dance to ‘Om Shanti Om’
Catherine Zeta-Jones and husband Michael Douglas are in India for a media summit and Anil Kapoor took the stage with the power couple to talk about films, nepotism and Bollywood.
It came as a pleasant surprise when Catherine Zeta-Jones started singing the Om Shanti Om title track. Yes, that happened. Even Anil Kapoor didn’t see that coming. He was in conversation with the Catherine about Chicago, the musical, for which she received an Oscar. And talking about musicals how can one not mention Bollywood? So, Catherine said, “I am a huge fan of Bollywood. Om Shanti Om is one of my favourite movies. This for true. This is not because I am in India. My kids have been brought up singing Om Shanti Om...I know it inside out and so does my mother.” She also says she would love to do a Bollywood movie in her career.
Adding to that Micheal Douglas went on to reveal their family tradition on Christmas. “In Christmas in our country, they sing Christmas carols, in our house they sing all the songs of Om Shanti Om,” added Douglas.
Catherine Zeta-Jones even shook a leg with Anil Kapoor on the song. Watch it here:
