Nadia Essex has revealed she is 14 weeks pregnant with a ‘miracle’ baby after falling pregnant while using protection.

The 37-year-old former Celebs Go Dating star revealed she thought she couldn’t have children, and was told by doctors she had a one per cent chance of conceiving.

Essex told Closer magazine: "I’ve gone from a hellish year to being blessed with a baby.

"The odds weren’t in my favour, as for so long I thought I couldn’t have children – so this is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s a miracle!

"I had tried for a baby ten years ago with a previous partner, with no success. I’d recently stopped taking the contraceptive pill, but I was using protection. My doctor told me there was less than one per cent chance of conception. Everyone’s shocked, but I wouldn’t change a thing!”

The dating expert confessed she was “scared” but was excited to start a new chapter in her life.

But she admitted she is worried about raising the baby alone.

She said: “I still think there’s a real stigma against single mums and internet trolls may use that label against me. My baby’s dad lives in America and he wants to be involved, so we’ll find a way to co-parent and communicate. I have a great support system and a very honest relationship with my family.”

The shamed reality TV star was axed from E4 show Celebs Go Dating last year after creating fake Twitter profiles to troll her former co-star Eden Blackman.

In messages sent from a fake account Essex called Blackman “sick” and “disgraceful” for cheating on his now ex-girlfriend with Chanelle Sadie Paul – a woman he met when she appeared on Celebs Go Dating.

Essex later said she had hit “rock bottom” after being the target of online abuse herself.

She said: “Looking back on it now, I didn't deal with it in the right way, I know that. I've been called a fat ugly b***h on a daily basis.

"I've been told to kill myself. I’ve been told I am the most hated woman in Britain

“I have had suicidal thoughts from the mountain of abuse I have received.”
