Cherry: Spiderman Tom Holland Drops 30 pounds For His Role In The Film

Tom Holland was last seen in a huge venture Avengers as a Spiderman, which is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. He is now all set for his next upcoming film Cherry, where the actor will be playing the role of an army medical officer who is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD.

It has been now heard that Tom has dropped 30 pounds for his role. Having said the same, one of the directors of the film Joe Russo said the Deadline, reports dailymail.co.uk. that, “(Tom) really shredded himself for the part. He lost 30 pounds, he gained it back. We’re on an independent movie schedule here. He didn’t really have a lot of time to be doing these things.”

The crime drama Cherry will be directed by Anthony Russo and Joe itself by reuniting with Tom Holland. The film is based on Nico Walker’s novel of the same name, the rights for which were acquired by the director duo in 2018.
