After fair opening on the first day, the Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore grew by a solid collections on Saturday at the box office.
After giving the biggest blockbuster in the history of Bollywood cinema, Dangal, and light hearted comedies like Bhoothnath Returns and Chillar Party, Niteshh Tiwary is back with yet another feel good cinema, Chhichhore, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma.
The reviews from both critics and audience for Chhichhore have been excellent. Though the morning show occupancy was between 10% occupancy which was lesser than Kedarnath but bigger than Sonchiriya, Chhichhore picked up on the second day by 50-60% and collected some where between Rs 11-13 crore from 2000 screens across India, bringing the two total to Rs 18-20 crore. Expect yet another good revenue from today as the word of mouth is positive while footfalls in theaters is trending upwards.
The budget of Nitesh Tiwary directed film is Rs 65 Crore (Production Cost: 50 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 15 Crore). The main test of Chhichhore will start from Monday onward.
