CHILDREN IMPACTED BY COVID | India Development Debate

Thousands of children in India have been left helpless after losing either or both parents to covid-19 over the past year. In a bid to help such children, good Samaritans have been sharing pleas for their direct adoption across social media. This, however, violates due process of adoption in the country, and puts the children at risk of being trafficked. Join in on the India Development Debate Panel #2, as Tamanna Inamdar discusses the legal course of action for helping out orphaned children, preventing nefarious adoption appeals, and much more with Anurag Kundu, Chairperson, DCPCR, Sudarshan Suchi, CEO, Save the Children and Bharti Ali, Co-Founder & ED, HAQ: Centre for Child Rights.
