One of the most anticipated songs from the Dabangg 3 is Munna Badnaam featuring Salman Khan, an ‘item song with a twist’ features ’ beloved Chulbul Pandey as the ‘badass item boy’. While fans are eagerly waiting to watch Chulbul groove in his unique style to Munna Badnaam, the song has an additional surprise which is bound to take the excitement a notch higher.

It has now been revealed that during the shoot of the song, which has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and also features Warina Hussain, Salman Khan suggested that since Prabhu Deva, who is directing the film, is a dancing legend and ace choreographer, there should be a dance-off between Chulbul and Prabhu Deva in the song. Which means that Munna Badnaam has not one, but two item boys!

A source from the set also revealed “Given that Prabhu Deva is a dance icon, Salman felt a fun dance-off between them would become a talking point. As soon as the director agreed to face the camera, Salman called sister Alvira Agnihotri and designer Ashley Rebello, who are styling the cast of Dabangg 3, and asked them to source a jacket similar to what he was sporting in the song, for Prabhu Deva.”

When asked about being a part of the song, Prabhu Deva said, “Sharing screen space with him( Salman Khan) in a song after Mera Hi Jalwa was magical. I can never turn down his request. I hope people will like seeing us together again.”

The video of the song will be out this week, and the audience can’t wait to groove and go ‘Badnaam’ with their beloved Pandey ji. Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Salma Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi under the banner of Salman Khan Films and is slated to release on 20th December, this year.
