The Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Devaiah and Adah Sharma starrer Commando 3 showed a good hold on its first Monday, cementing its status at the box office.
Commando 3 opened on very much in expectation on its first day despite the average reviews from the critics. However the paying audience were satisfied with content as per BookMyShow.com which led to a growth on the second day.
Also starring Adah Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah and Angira Dhar in key roles, Commando 3 consolidated the first day collections at Rs 4.74 crore and grew well on Saturday with Rs 5.64 crore followed by an amazing spike on Sunday with Rs 7.54 crore.
As per our estimates, Commando 3 showed a good holf from around 2456 screens in India, minting Rs 2.5-3 crores, bringing the four days total at Rs 21-21.50 crore. If it performs well over the next few weekdays, it has the chance of getting close to its budget. Coming Friday, Commando 3 has to face two big movies – Panipat and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
Commando 3 is made on an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore (Production Cost: 22 Crore & Prints & Advertising Cost: 8 Crore). The action drama is directed by Aditya Datt who earlier made Table No. 21 and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital.
