The Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Devaiah and Adah Sharma starrer Commando 3 is inching towards the success as it has already become the second highest grossing film of the Commando franchise.
Commando 3 got thumbs down from the critics but audience gave thumbs up as per BookMyShow.com.
Also starring Adah Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah and Angira Dhar in key roles, Commando 3 opened on first day collections with decent Rs 4.74 crore and grew well on Saturday with Rs 5.64 crore followed by an amazing spike on Sunday with Rs 7.54 crore. The collections were solid on Monday with Rs 3.42 crore.
As per our estimates, Commando 3 showed another good hold from around 2456 screens in India on Tuesday, minting Rs 2.5-3 crores, bringing the four days total at Rs 24-24.50 crore, crossing the lifetime collections of Commando which collected Rs 21.20 crore. If it performs well over the next few weekdays, it has the chance of crossing the lifetime collections of Commando 2. Coming Friday, Commando 3 has to face two big movies – Panipat and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
Commando 3 is made on an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore (Production Cost: 22 Crore & Prints & Advertising Cost: 8 Crore). The action drama is directed by Aditya Datt who earlier made Table No. 21 and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital.
