The Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Devaiah and Adah Sharma starrer Commando 3 is unstoppable at the ticket window as it has become the highest grossing film of the Commando franchise.
Commando 3 got thumbs down from the critics but audience gave thumbs up as per BookMyShow.com. It has defeated Commando and Commando 2 to become the highest grossing film of the franchise.
Also starring Adah Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah and Angira Dhar in key roles, Commando 3 debuted with with decent Rs 4.74 crore and grew well on Saturday with Rs 5.64 crore followed by an amazing collections on Sunday with Rs 7.54 crore. The collections were solid on Monday with Rs 3.42 crore followed by Rs 3.02 crores on Tuesday.
As per our estimates, Commando 3 showed another good hold from around 2456 screens in India on Tuesday, minting Rs 2.72 crores and raised its 6 days total collection to 27.49 crores crossing the lifetime collections of Commando 2 which collected Rs 25.09 crore. Commando 3 is now the highest grossing film of the franchise crossing the lifetime collections of Commando and Commando 2. Coming Friday, Commando 3 has to face two big movies – Panipat and Pati Patni Aur Woh which is releasing tomorrow.
Commando 3 is made on an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore (Production Cost: 22 Crore & Prints & Advertising Cost: 8 Crore). The action drama is directed by Aditya Datt who earlier made Table No. 21 and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital.
