After opening to a decent response on the first day, the the Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Devaiah and Adah Sharma starrer Commando 3 showed a good growth on the second day at the box office.
Commando 3 opened on very much in expectation on its first day despite the average reviews from the critics. However the paying audience were satisfied with content as per BookMyShow.com which led to a growth on the second day.
Also starring Adah Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah and Angira Dhar in key roles, Commando 3 met with dismal reviews from the critics which led to an occupancy of 10-15% in the morning shows across India which was better than the first part but lower than second one. The mass centers have contributed well while multiplex were extremely weak, consolidating the first day collections at Rs 4.74 crore.
As per our estimates, Commando 3 showed a good growth of around 30% from around 2456 screens in India, minting somewhere between Rs 6.15 crore to Rs 6.75 crore on the second day at the ticket window. With two days total, Commando 3 stands at Rs 11-11.50 crore. The footfalls have increased over the two days which shows that Sunday collections should be great.
Commando 3 is made on an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore (Production Cost: 22 Crore & Prints & Advertising Cost: 8 Crore). The action drama is directed by Aditya Datt who earlier made Table No. 21 and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital.
