Commando 3 Third Day Box Office Report – The Vidyut Jammwal Starrer Shows Another Good Growth

The the Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Devaiah and Adah Sharma starrer Commando 3 showed another good growth on Sunday, bringing in a healthy first weekend collections at the box office.

Commando 3 opened on very much in expectation on its first day despite the average reviews from the critics. However the paying audience were satisfied with content as per BookMyShow.com which led to a growth on the second day.

Also starring Adah Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah and Angira Dhar in key roles, Commando 3 met with dismal reviews from the critics which led to an occupancy of 10-15% in the morning shows across India which was better than the first part but lower than second one. The mass centers have contributed well while multiplex were extremely weak, consolidating the first day collections at Rs 4.74 crore. The action drama did well on Saturday with Rs 5.64 crore.

As per our estimates, Commando 3 showed another good growth from around 2456 screens in India, minting Rs 7.5-8.5 crores, bringing the three days total, Commando 3 stands at Rs 18-19 crore. This is a good number considering the reasonable budget of the film. If it performs well over the weekdays, it has the chance of getting close to its budget. Coming Friday, Commando 3 has to face two big movies – Panipat and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

Commando 3 is made on an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore (Production Cost: 22 Crore & Prints & Advertising Cost: 8 Crore). The action drama is directed by Aditya Datt who earlier made Table No. 21 and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital.
