After impressing the audience with death defying stunts in Commando and Commando 2, Vidyut Jamwal has scored well among the audience with Commando 3 in 2 days at the box office. Let us check out how did it perform as compared to the first two films in the franchise.
The first part of Commando was released in 2013 which boasted the never-seen-before stunts performed by a leading actor on Indian screen. The audience gave thumbs to the deadly action scenes performed by Vidyut Jamwal which led the action film collect Rs 3.54 crore on the first day. The action remained stable and minted Rs 3.22 crore at the ticket window on the second day
Commando 2 (2017)
The sequel, Commando 2, was released 4 years later in 2017, thanks to the popularity built up by the first part. Despite facing negative reviews, Commando 3 collected much better than the first part, earning Rs 5.14 crore at the box office but went down to Rs 4.40 crore on the second day.
Commando 3 (2019)
The team of Commando is back with the third part and collected Rs 4.74 crore which was better than the first part but lower than second one. Commando 3 showed a good growth of around 30% from around 2456 screens in India, minting somewhere between Rs 6.15 crore to Rs 6.75 crore on the second day at the ticket window. With two days total, Commando 3 stands at Rs 11-11.50 crore.
Commando 3 is directed by Aditya Datt who earlier made Table No. 21 and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital.
