Famous producer Sudhakar Reddy has bought the rights in Telugu language fir the Hindi film Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana. Read on…
Andhadhun did wonders when it released in 2018 and went on to become 2018’s highest rated Indian film on IMDB as well. Speculations were rife that the film will be soon made in other regional languages like Telugu and Tamil. And we have finally found out that the film will be remade in Telugu soon.
Though there were many names who were eager to bag the rights of the Sriram Raghavan directorial, it was Sudhakar Reddy (actor Nithiin’s father) who bought the Telugu rights for the film.
“Sudhakar Reddy’s home production Shresth Movies has bagged the remake rights, but they are in no hurry to take the remake on floors. Along with getting the right cast, Sudhakar wants to ensure he gets the right filmmaker who can adapt the script to suit the Telugu nativity,” quoted a source.
It would be super interesting to see the cast of the film and especially who will play the role of Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu who were pure magic in the Hindi version. Till now, there has been no official news on the casting of the film.
As far as who will be directing the Telugu version is concerned, names like Harish Shankar and Ramesh Varma are floating on the rumor boat but we still haven’t got any official confirmation coming from these two directors.
