How committed are you to your skin care regime? Chances are, you’re not even close to Courteney Cox’s level of devotion.

The actress was spotted at a New York City restaurant this week using a rose quartz face roller, because no matter where you’re at, there’s never a wrong time to boost circulation in your face.

While it’s a bit of an unprecedented dinnertime move, the skincare tool has spiked in popularity, and Cox is part of the fan club.

Face rolling, which originated in 7th century China, is known to reduce inflammation and circulate blood flow resulting in a more radiant, younger-looking complexion.

NYC-based dermatologist Jennifer Chwalek, M.D., told HuffPost that jade rollers can help with lymphatic drainage, thus draining the face of toxins.

“Whenever there’s stagnant circulation or swelling at all in the face, massage can help that lymph fluid drain into the [proper] channels and away from around your eyes and certain areas where it tends to settle,” she said.

The cool nature of rose quartz and jade face rollers also can sooth the skin, which can decrease redness and inflammation. What’s more, the beauty tool can smooth out fine lines over time and help push serums deeper into your pores.

For best results, use the rollers gently and wash with soap and water after every use. (Tip: Put your roller in a refrigerator for 10 minutes before each use for a cooling effect.)

Though there isn’t any information out there about the powers of rolling your face at restaurants, we’re assuming the same benefits apply to Courteney Cox. You can find some of our favorite face rollers below.

This $15 jade roller set comes with a Gua Sha stone that will also help boost your skin care routine. Nearly 900 customers have reviewed this set, raving about how cost-effective and easy to use it is.

“I was hesitant that this would actually work. I mean just a stone could take away my frown lines and wrinkles?” one five-star reviewer wrote. “After one use (15 minutes), I woke up the next day and couldn't believe my eyes ... I use it every night now with my vitamin c serum. I'm almost 60 and thought I had to end up purchasing something really expensive to help with the crow’s feet and wrinkles, but this is doing the trick! And it feels awesome on my face! Highly recommend this product!”
