Star Bharat's on-going show 'Teri Laadli Main' starring Gaurav Wadhwa, Hemangi Kavi and Mayuri Kapadane will soon go off air. The show which went on air in January this year, telecasted 78 episodes so far. And now, the channel has taken the sudden decision to pull the plug off it, owing to the ongoing crisis due to COVID-19.

As we all know Maharashtra is under a 15-day lockdown due to an increase in number of Coronavirus cases. After which a lot of shows have temporarily shifted their shooting sets to other states, however, many shows which cannot logistically and financially cannot do that, are on the verge of discontinuing.

Actor Gaurav Wadhwa, who essays the character of Akshat in the show, confirmed this sad news to us when we reached out to him and told SpotboyE.com, "The news is true. I also got to know about this yesterday. It is sad that all this is happening because of the pandemic. We all were so attached to the show and it is heartbreaking for us to learn. We are not even shooting the climax; it has gone off air abruptly."

The show which is a remake of Telugu series Mouna Raagam talks about a girl named Bitti who has been continuously rejected by her father for being a girl child. Also her struggle of making them happy by doing household chores and selling milk inspite of being born mute.

Last year, when lockdown was imposed and shoots were brought to a halt, a lot of TV shows had to face the consequences and went off air overnight which included shows like Beyhadh 2, Patiala Babes, Nazar 2, Vidya, Isharo Isharo Mein, Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do and more.
