Directed by Anshai Lal, Phillauri also starred Dilijit Dosanjh and earned mixed reviews from both critics and audience. The comedy drama collected Rs 26 crore with a budget of Rs 29 crore.
A remake of a Korean film Man From Nowhere, Rocky Handsome was a taut thriller that is going to keep you on the edge of seat without giving a chance to blink your eyes. Unfortunately, the film could not create huge impact at the box office it deserved, collecting Rs 25.08 crore against a budget of Rs 40 crore.
Being Cyrus (2006)
Saif Ali Khan is known to experiment with his acting. Sometime he fails but sometimes he comes out with an admiring performance. Even though he was at his career’s peak, he chose to do a non-commercial film, Being Cyrus, which won rave reviews. Directed by Homi Adajania (Angrezi Medium, Cocktail), Being Cyrus collected Rs 3.95 crore against a budget of Rs 4 crore.
Dulhan Hum le Jayenge (2000)
When you two popular stars, one super-hit director coupled with an amazing supporting actors, public is always interested in these type of masala entertainers. Directed by David Dhawan, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge had all the ingredients to make it a commercial potboiler and audience loved every minute of it. Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor starrer collected Rs 18.85 crore against a budget of Rs 11 crore.
