Dessert Time: Homemade Khoya Barfi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg Khoya

  • 300 gram Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp; Elaichi powder

  • 2 tbsp Desiccated Coconut

  • Cashew for garnish

 

Method:

  • Heat Khoya in a pan and cook it until it melts,  stirring continuously

  • Add sugar to the melted khoya and keep stirring

  • Add elaichi powder and coconut and mix well

  • Spread this ready material in  a greased plate

 

Once it cools down, cut it into desired shapes

 

Serve after garnishing with cashews
