Details: First collaboration between Kartik and Madhvani

The film will mark the first collaboration between Kartik and director Madhvani.

However, more details about the project are awaited.

For the unversed, Madhvani has directed films such as Let's Talk (2002) and the National Award-winning 2016 movie Neerja.

Most recently, he created and directed crime-drama web series Aarya, which released on Hotstar in June this year.

Fact: 'Thrill, emotion and drama,' all in one

"Though this one is a thriller at the outset, there lies a lot of emotion and drama in the screenplay that leads to adrenaline rush. This film demanded a young actor, with a certain amount of rawness in the space," Madhvani said about the project.

Other projects: Kartik also has 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' coming up

Kartik, who had made his Bollywood debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal, co-starring Sara Ali Khan.

The film was a sequel to Imtiaz's 2009 movie by the same name, which starred Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan.

Apart from Dhamaka, he also has films such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2 in the pipeline.
