Reusable straws have come into fashion, literally.
Luxury French fashion house Dior has introduced a set of reusable straws made from hand-blown glass which means the fash pack can sip their G&T on the FROW in style.
Each straw has been hand-painted and come in two different designs featuring gold detailing, one completely gold and the other with a swirled pattern.
The straws are then packaged in a beautifully designed red and white nature-print box with the Dior logo emblazoned on it.
But they come at a price. The brand has listed them on its website for £120 for a box of six - £20 per straw.
The brand hasn’t announced exactly when they will be available, but the straws can be purchased in individual Dior boutiques. And you can sign up for a notification of when they’re available, below:

They are certainly chicer than single-use plastic straws that are found in restaurants and coffee shops, which will now be banned in the UK from April 2020.
It is estimated that 4.7 billion plastic straws are used each year in England and have a serious impact on marine life and our oceans.
It seems the fashion industry is waking up to the impact it has on climate change after it was revealed it was one of the biggest polluters of clean water globally.
And Dior’s parent company, LVMH, has in the last few years put sustainability at the heart of its mission statement by installing LED lights in its stores to save energy, while other luxury houses such as Burberry has planned to be entirely carbon neutral by 2022.
Luckily, if £120 is out of your price range, there are plenty of affordable options so you don’t have to break the bank when it comes to being sustainable. Check out the alternatives below.
