Disha Rape Case: Forget Blaming Kabir Singh, Burn Those Rapists Alive,’ Says Dalljiet Kaur- EXCLUSIVE

Unfortunately, rape cases in India have been on a rise and the recent horrifying rape and murder of Disha (name changed) in Hyderabad has shaken up the nation. The whole country is anguished by the shocking developments and the heinous crime. In fact, several celebrities like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli have also expressed their angst on social media.

Now, TV actress Dalljiet Kaur who was last seen on Bigg Boss 13 has expressed outrage against the rapists. Speaking exclusively to, she says, “It's a matter of rape and the most horrid, scary way of torturing a woman. They actually gang raped her, then killed her and even burnt her alive. The girl wanted to go home and she could sense that those men are not decent and with that fear she actually called up her sister. Imagine the plight of that woman and what all she went through. These people should be burnt alive. The anger is so much in me right now that honestly I don’t get what’s up with this Kabir Singh context."

For those unversed, Kabir Singh filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga put up a post on women’s safety and asked for a brutal sentence to be pronounced for the rapists. Post his tweet, filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane took a jibe at him and retweeting it, wrote, “Will that FEAR stop them from slapping her?” This comment is with context to a scene in Shahid Kapoor’s film Kabir Singh in which he slaps Kiara Advani’s character Preeti.

Addressing the same, Dalljiet added, “Eventually, Kabir Singh is fiction so obviously you cannot justify it, also firstly slapping someone to show your emotion is not right. You know if I disagree to somebody, I can do that respectfully and walk out of the situation. So I don't agree to it. Also secondly, why are we talking about a fictional movie? Here we are talking about a real girl, real rape and real murder. I honestly don't want to comment on this because I'm having extreme emotions of anger and disgust, that I think every Indian is feeling right now. These people have no fear of the cops or anybody. If this fear is just going to vanish like that, where are we heading to? It is so scary, irritating and disgraceful.

Right now, more than anything else, all we need to do is find out why it happened and what is happening to those people who murdered that girl.”
