The White Tiger, starring Adarsh Gourav, has recently released on Netflix across 190 countries. Running up to the launch, DIVINE dropped his latest track from the film, Jungle Mantra, which is already receiving a lot of love from his fans! Adarsh, who plays the lead role of Balram, is also a huge fan of Divine for the longest time and the rapper too is impressed with Adarsh’s acting chops and cannot wait for the world to see his performance in ‘The White Tiger’.

‘Jungle Mantra’, an original song performed by Divine, featuring Vince Staples and Pusha T was released recently. Speaking about the song and Divine, Adarsh commented, “Divine’s songs have always hit the right chords. I have always enjoyed his music and am a huge fan of his. I was ecstatic when I came to know that he’ll be part of The White Tiger soundtrack. I’ve been listening to ‘Jungle mantra’ on loop!”

Turns out, Divine too has become fond of the actor. “Gaurav is incredible, looking forward to what he’s going to do next. Pusha T is one of my favourite rappers in the world, and I’m honoured to be on the same song as him. Loved the performances of everyone in the film and the direction as well. Also, a major shout out to Ramin, who directed this film, gave me the freedom to do the song I wanted to do.” said Divine.

Reviewers and critics across the board have praised Adarsh’s performance. Charlotte O’Sullivan from The Evening Standard calls out Adarsh’s performance as “nuanced and utterly engaging”, and ”Owen Gliberman from Variety calls Adarsh’s performance as Balram “a small marvel”.

Based on the book, ‘The White Tiger’ by Aravind Adiga, the film also stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Rajkummar Rao.
