DJ Kygo: Shah Rukh Khan is a big name all over the world

DJ Kygo says that he would love to collaborate with Indian artists.

DJ Kygo was in Mumbai last night to enthral the fans with his performance. In an interview with a leading daily, DJ KYgo expressed his fascination for Bollywood and Indian music.

Sharing his interest in collaborating with the Indian artists, the Norwegian DJ said, “There have been some incredible collaborations between Indian and western musicians over the years. I loved Diplo’s collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan earlier this year [referring to the song Phurrr from Jab Harry Met Sejal]. If the right opportunity comes my way, I’d love to do something with an Indian act.”

When asked if he is familiar with any Bollywood celeb and he adds, “Shah Rukh Khan is a big name all over the world. I know Prateik Babbar, who performed with me last night.”

“Indian fans are always up to date. My new album, Kids In Love, released recently, but I was surprised to see everyone sing along at the gig last night. I also love Indian food. Last time, when I was in Goa, I gorged on fresh fried fish,” he said.

There were a buzz that Sunny Leone will be throwing a big part of Kygo during a stay in India. Sunny told a leading daily, “I have already told Kygo how fans go bananas in India and that he is going to have a kickass time here and I can’t wait to meet him.”

A source further informed, “The guest list will include who’s who of Bollywood. Salman Khan, Malaika Arora, Katrina Kaif are some of the celebrities who will join in the celebration. Sunny, who is a fan of his music, will also be attending his concert in Mumbai with her co-star Arbaaz Khan.”
