Welcomed by glowing reviews, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Barucha starrer Dream Girl opened big at the box office.
Ayushmann Khurrana is one such actor who believes in content over the star power which is true as his films have been loved and appreciated by the audiences. He started the year 2019 with Article 15 and now is back with his second film, Dream Girl. Talking about the film, Dream Girl, the comedy-drama has a fresh star cast with Nushrat Barucha, who is also returning from giving the super hit, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Annu Kapoor, who collaborate with Ayushmann in his first film Vicky Donor.
The trailer of Dream Girl was released on 12th August and has gained immense popularity with the views crossing 29 millions. The comic scenes and funny dialogues had worked well along with the plot of the film which has never attempted before. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who holds the 2013 record in the Limca Book of Records for having written 625 scripts, Dream Girl has received good reviews from both critics and audience till now.
As per early estimates, Dream Girl opened to an occupancy of of 20-25 % and will pick up in the evening and night shows depending upon the word of mouth reviews.
Dream Girl should open with Rs 10-12 crore estimate as on first day and become the highest opening film of Ayushmann Khurrana.
