Diaper rash is quite common in kids, especially when they start sitting or wear diapers for too long. Dirty or wet diaper mostly causes diaper rash. But some bacterial infection and allergic reaction to the diaper can also cause diaper rash.
The first and foremost thing you should do if the rashes are not healing is to change the diaper or wipes you are using because these rashes can; be because of; diaper or wipes.
Also, try to maintain the basic rule hygiene, while using diapers:
1- Change diaper in 4 hours or whenever he poops
2- Always use a barrier like some oil or cream.
3- Give some diaper free time so that; skin can breath.
4- Always wash your hands before and after changing diapers.
5- Clean that area with wipes or wet cloth; before changing into a new one.
