Fast & Furious, Hobb & Shaw, showed a slight drop hold on 5th day at the ticket window but still was good enough to put in good numbers at the box office.

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw is ringing bells at the domestic box office. The action film became the largest opening film of the franchise defeating the previous Fast & Furious film, The Fate of the Furious, which debuted in 2017 with Rs 12.30 crore. Thanks to the adrenaline-pumping trailer, solid marketing and aggressive promotion over social media, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw also became the must-see film of this week all over the world.
Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham opened to 30% occupancy in the morning shows and picked up in the evening and night shows, consolidating to a staggering Rs 13.15 crore from 2100 screens in all the versions and has now become the best opening film in the Fast & Furious franchise after The Fate of the Furious (Rs 12.30 crore). The earnings on the second day grew to Rs 13.75 crore followed by Rs 16 crore on Sunday. However there was a huge crash on Monday with Rs 6 crore
As per early estimates, the earnings dropped further on first Tuesday with Rs 5.50 crore, bringing the 5 days total to Rs 64.40 crore.
