FC Goa to face Hyderabad FC at the Tilak Maidan on December 30, Wednesday 7:30 PM IST. FC Goa has acquired the sixth spot with 11 points while Hyderabad FC has occupied the eighth spot with nine points.

Hyderabad FC has to deal with injuries to key foreign players like Lluis Sastre, Joel Chianese and Fran Sandaza. However, the team has managed to perform exceedingly well to collect nine points from seven matches.

The young Indian players have grabbed some attention but the team still misses the foreigners. Two consecutive losses have pushed Hyderabad FC to the 8th position. A comfortable victory against FC Goa will be crucial for them to make a spot for themselves in the top four of the points table.

FC Goa is one of the strongest sides this season. They are currently at the sixth spot in the ISL standings with 11 points from eight matches. They will be entering into this match with a win in their previous game.

In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, FC Goa clearly has the upper hand as they completed the double over the Nizams last season. In the last encounter between the two teams, Hyderabad FC lost 1-4 to FC Goa.

Manolo Marques revealed that Lluis Sastre and Joel Chianese will return to the squad, after playing Fran Sandaza against the Kerala Blasters. Meanwhile, FC Goa has no issues regarding injuries in their squad.
