Los Angeles, Aug 26 (PTI) Fox Television is working on a music anthology series with its first season focussing on the lives of country singers Naomi and Wynonna Judd.
Titled 'Icon', the show will span across multiple seasons with each telling the story of a music legend over a number of one-hour episodes, reported Deadline.
The first installment will focus on Grammy-winning mother-daughter country music duo Naomi and Wynonna Judd, who will be serving as executive producers.
The makers are currently looking for a writer for the project, which will be produced by Les Borsai, Greg Hill, Cactus Moser and Larry Strickland.
Naomi and Wynonna Judd dominated country music in the ’80s and ’90s, winning countless awards, selling more than 20 million albums and creating a string of hits.
The duo stopped performing together in 1991 after Naomi was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, and Wynonna went on to enjoy a successful solo career.
They last performed live together in 2010 with their Last Encore Tour. PTI RB RB
